Regulations EC261 / UK261
Finnair is the flag carrier of Finland. When it comes to air passenger rights, there are two regulations that apply to most Finnair flights – EC261, the European flight compensation regulation, and the Regulation UK261, its UK counterpart. Every time your flight is late, cancelled or overbooked, you may be entitled to flight compensation from Finnair. Don’t forget to file a claim!
EU and UK air passenger rights laws are practically identical.
